  コネタ。新潮社支給のPCは一台につき一太郎かWordかどちらかしか（おそらくライセンス料の関係で）インストールされていない。したがってぼくの編集者はWordを開けない。セキュリティでOpenOfficeのインストールは許されない。新潮社内には無線LANはない。たいへん困っているのでTwitterで書いちゃってくださいとのこと。そりゃ困るだろうなと心から同情した。ちなみに（これは社の問題ではないが）新潮社本館は携帯の電波も届かないらしい。大丈夫なのだろうか。
  ただ、素人もしくは他業界の観点から単純にアホと断言するのは早急な感じもするので、その点は擁護しておく。出版社は著作権管理が本業中の本業のところがあるので、ネット関係ではとくに厳しくなりがちなのだ。それは新潮社以外もすべて同じなのです。
